The Flying Gorillas’ Colville Crew Smash Dance Showdown 2016

Kyle, Zac, Mo, Imara, Callum and Yahya stormed into Epic CIC Dance Showdown at Cadogan Hall on 1st July and walked out with the classiest prize of the evening: the Group Award presented by the legendary Jonzi D, MBE. In the words of one participant: “Jonzi D is the only person ever to be given a medal for breakdancing by the Queen of England”. The crew have been invited to a masterclass as part of the Sadlers Wells Breakin’ Convention 2017.

Our good friends Pimento Supplementary School, who train with The Flying Gorillas at Colville on Tuesdays, also scooped an award: the Juniors' Prize.
